Multi-Mode Modulation

Eight Modulation Modes - VST3

ChorusFlangerPhaserTremoloVibratoRotaryRing ModUnivibe

fMod is a multi-mode modulation plugin that recreates eight classic analogue modulation effects in a single interface. Each instance receives a unique serial number that seeds subtle per-unit hardware tolerances, just like pulling different units off a production line.

The eight modes are complete, dedicated DSP engines - not simplified presets of a generic architecture. Chorus uses multi-voice BBD delay lines. Flanger uses through-zero capable delay with resonant feedback. Phaser uses cascaded allpass stages. Rotary models dual horn and drum rotors with crossover and cabinet simulation.

Each mode exposes its own set of controls matching what the real hardware offers. All share common Input, Bypass, Output, Mix, and Sync controls. Mode-specific controls include Rate, Depth, Feedback, Voices, Tone, Rise, Drive, Stages, and more depending on the effect.

ADAA antialiasing is active at all quality tiers for saturation stages. Tempo sync is available on all modes.

Chorus

Multi-voice BBD ensemble with up to 6 voices, feedback, and tone shaping. Instant thickening from subtle doubling to rich ensemble.

Flanger & Phaser

Through-zero flanging with resonant feedback. Multi-stage phaser with selectable stage count for varied character.

Rotary & Univibe

Dual-rotor Leslie emulation with horn/drum crossover and cabinet sim. Univibe with drive for saturated psychedelic tones.

Tremolo, Vibrato, Ring Mod

Bias and optical tremolo modes. Vibrato with gradual onset Rise control. Ring modulator for metallic, atonal textures.
