Multi-Mode Delay
Eight Delay Engines - VST3
fDelay is an eight-mode delay plugin from the fBox ecosystem. Each mode models a different delay technology with authentic analogue character or pristine digital clarity. It is not eight separate plugins sharing a GUI - it is one integrated delay processor with eight deeply modelled signal paths, each with its own controls, character, and visual identity.
The eight modes are: Tape Echo (warm reel-to-reel studio delay), Tape Loop (characterful three-head British tape loop), BBD (dark bucket-brigade with compandor breathing), Digital (crystal-clean studio reference), Oil Can (electrostatic disc with non-periodic wobble), Lo-Fi (degraded digital with active bit-crushing and sample rate reduction), Multi-Tap (up to 8 independently controllable taps), and Ping Pong (stereo bouncing delay).
Every instance generates a unique serial number that seeds subtle hardware tolerances across the analogue modes. Motor speed drift, head alignment, saturation onset, noise floor, and component values all vary from unit to unit. Tempo sync is available on most modes with 13 note divisions.
Warm reel-to-reel studio delay with wow, flutter, and tone control. Three-head British tape loop with characterful repeats.
Dark bucket-brigade with compandor breathing and clock noise. Electrostatic disc delay with non-periodic wobble and unpredictable character.
Crystal-clean studio reference delay. Degraded digital with active bit-crushing, sample rate reduction, and degrade controls.
Up to 8 independently controllable delay taps with per-tap level, pan, and feedback. Stereo bouncing delay with cross-feedback.
