If you are not sure where to start, start small. Take one plugin, put it on a track, and see what it does. Every one works entirely on its own, exactly like any other plugin, in any recording software that hosts VST3. Nothing depends on anything else here. If yours does not host VST3, take fBox Console instead and run it as a standalone Windows application, with the plugins loading into its slots.
fBox Console is a whole 32-channel mixing desk and fBox Rack is a channel strip that hosts both fBox plugins and the VST3 plugins you already own, from any company. The Console hosts fBox plugins only. You do not need either one to use the rest of the suite. They are all VST3 plugins and they work in your DAW.
There is no demo build and no cut-down version. The file you take from this page is the same one a paying customer gets, and the licence on your machine decides what it does when you open it.

Open any plugin and an activation screen appears. Put your email address in, a six-digit code arrives in your inbox, and typing it in starts your 14 days. No payment details and nothing to cancel. When you buy, a licence key arrives by email and the same plugin simply stops expiring, with every setting and saved unit still in place. A licence covers three computers you use yourself, and you can manage those from the manage your licence page.
Each zip holds the plugin, a one-page START HERE guide and the full PDF manual. Copy the .vst3 file into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, then rescan plugins in your DAW. If any of that is new to you, the install guide covers it step by step, including the standalone console and the Windows warning you may see when you run it.

The one thing on this page that is not a trial. No licence, no key, no machine limit and no expiry, and there never will be. Install it on as many machines as you like.
Two programs in the zip. The VST3 sits in your DAW and gives you VU and PPM needles, a peak and phase page and a live loudness chart. fMeter Offline is an application that measures finished files instead, a hundred at a time if you want, faster than they would play. Two programs, one download. A 32-channel mixing desk with 8 group buses, 2 aux sends with returns, a stereo master section, 300 insert slots and an integrated 16-track tape machine, built twice: as a VST3 plugin and as a standalone Windows application. One licence covers both, and saved desks pass between them.
The insert slots take fBox plugins only, and not quite all of them: fComp, fEq, fPre, fSat, fMod, fVerb, fDelay and fDrone go into a slot, while fTape, fBox Rack and the Console itself do not. The desk is built to be mixed on without reaching for any of them. Every channel has a 4-mode preamp, a single-knob compressor and a 4-band EQ. Every bus has a 3-band EQ and a VCA bus compressor. The master section adds its own EQ, a vari-mu compressor and a diode limiter, with the 16-track tape machine behind all of it.

The same desk with no DAW at all. Load audio files onto the channels, play them with the built-in transport, split the song on the arrangement strip and store a different mix into each section, save the session, and render the finished mix straight to disk.
If your recording software does not host VST3, the standalone is the way in. Export your stems, load them onto the channels, and mix there with no routing to set up.
